Conta-Me is a 30-minute Portuguese-language television interview program that celebrates the stories, experiences, and achievements of the Portuguese-speaking community. Each episode features intimate conversations with public figures and members of the community who share their personal journeys, cultural heritage, and the experiences that have shaped their lives.
Hosted by the charismatic Márcia Sousa, the program combines meaningful conversation with heartfelt surprises, including video messages from family members and friends that create emotional and unforgettable moments.
As Producer, Director of Photography, Video Editor, and Audio Engineer, I oversee every stage of the production process. From production planning and multi-camera cinematography to professional lighting, location sound recording, audio mixing, color grading, motion graphics, and final broadcast delivery, every episode is produced entirely by me to meet broadcast television standards.
Beyond the technical production, my goal is to create a visual style that allows each guest's story to take center stage. Careful camera work, clean audio, thoughtful editing, and subtle graphics work together to create a polished viewing experience while preserving the authenticity and warmth of every conversation.
Conta-Me is broadcast on The Portuguese Channel and serves Portuguese-speaking audiences throughout Southern New England, while also reaching viewers online through digital platforms.
